Share a memory that involves the color green: The first basketball team I was on was the clovers. I was nervous about playing because I knew that basketball required height so I didn’t think it was going to be a sport I could play well. But when we started having practices and playing games, I turned out to be a real asset for the team. I was “tenacious” as my coach said. It was one of the first times in my life that my own self doubt had been squashed by my actual ability, and that was really powerful. All while wearing a green jersey.
